FAQ

Where can I buy passes?+

Passes are sold only through the official Comicpalooza ticketing link in this app and on comicpalooza.com. If a listing somewhere else looks too good to be true, it is. Questions: marketing@comicpalooza.com.

What are the 2027 show hours?+

Friday May 28 from 12:00 pm to 8:00 pm, Saturday May 29 from 10:00 am to 8:00 pm, Sunday May 30 from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm. Hours are confirmed closer to the show and this app updates automatically.

Is a ticket the same as a pass or a badge?+

Yes. Tickets and passes are the same thing. Your QR code is scanned once at the entrance and you receive your badge, wristband or both for the days you bought.

Do I need to print my ticket?+

No. Open the Tickets tab in this app and show the QR code on your phone. It works without a signal once you have opened the app at least once.

Can I buy passes for my friends?+

Yes. Only general information is needed for each pass. Anyone with the confirmation email or QR code can pick up a badge.

Is there a discount for buying early?+

Pre-registration is cheaper than buying on the weekend of the show, and prices rise as the show approaches. Military personnel receive 20% off at the door with a valid military ID, though early purchase may still be cheaper.

Do children need a pass?+

Ages 5 and under are free. Ages 6 to 12 need a Kid's pass. Ages 13 and up need an adult pass. VIP and Speed Pass holders may bring up to two children aged 12 and under into their priority lines; children aged 6 to 12 still need a badge.

What does VIP include?+

VIP includes General Admission plus early exhibit hall access, priority lines for panels, and priority lines at photo and autograph opportunities. Full benefits are listed on the ticket type when you buy.

What is the refund policy?+

Admission passes are not refunded for guest cancellations or other reasons. Pre-sold autographs and photo ops are refunded if a guest cancels. If the whole event is cancelled, passes, photo ops, autographs and exhibitor spaces are refunded.

Can I swap or upgrade my pass?+

Yes. Upgrades are charged the difference in price. Downgrades are not refunded.

Can I pay with cash at the door?+

Yes. Cash and credit cards are accepted on site. Gift cards are accepted, and any refund goes back to the same gift card.

How do I request a guest?+

Use the guest suggestion form on comicpalooza.com. Selection depends on expected interest, cost, and the guest's availability.

How long are celebrity panels?+

Panels run 30 to 45 minutes, most of them 45. Some panels take only moderator selected questions submitted in advance.

Why are some guests announced later than other shows?+

Some shows sign multi event contracts at premium fees, which also carries a higher cancellation risk. Comicpalooza announces when a guest is confirmed.

Should I buy autographs and photo ops early?+

Yes. Supply is limited and pre-orders shape how a guest's booth time is scheduled. If a guest cancels, pre-sold autographs and photo ops are refunded.

When are autograph and photo schedules posted?+

Schedules are posted two to three weeks before the show. Photo schedules come from the official photo partner. Follow a guest in this app and you are notified when their times change.

The guest is not at their table. Where are they?+

Guests take breaks and attend panels. Check their schedule in this app, and ask a volunteer at the autograph area.

How much does an autograph cost?+

Pricing varies by guest and is posted online and at each table. Some guests take cards, some are cash only. ATMs are on site.

What does "Table Only" mean?+

The guest sells autographs only at their table during the show, not online in advance.

Is a photo included with my autograph?+

Most autographs include an 8x10 photo. Some guests charge separately for the photo. You may bring your own item as long as it follows the rules.

How many people can be in a photo op?+

Up to four people per photo op ticket, not counting the guest and children aged 3 and under. Special poses and props are often allowed, subject to the guest's and photographer's approval.

Can I use the VIP photo line?+

Only VIP pass holders may use VIP lines.

When is the schedule published?+

Weeks ahead of the show, in this app and on the website. It changes right up to and during the show; the app updates itself, and anything you favourited tells you when it moves.

Is there programming for kids?+

Yes. A dedicated children's area lives in the Exhibit Hall, and the Family Activities track runs all weekend.

How do I host a panel?+

Panel applications open periodically. The submission link is in the website footer. Questions: programming@comicpalooza.com.

How do I volunteer?+

Volunteer registration is linked in the website footer. Volunteers must be 18 or older, and late applications are not accepted. Questions: volunteers@comicpalooza.com.

When will I get my volunteer schedule?+

Schedules are posted in the volunteer portal after submissions close.

Can I leave and come back?+

At the Info Booth during the show. Items are held for 30 days afterward.

Is the venue accessible?+
